Alright, this is totally disgusting. Read at your own risk of vomiting. You have been warned.
I have tonsiloliths. Ok, it sounds worse than it is. Tonsiloliths are little globs of yellowish-whitish goo that form in the tonsil crypts (little pockets in the surface of the tonsils). They (the tonsiloliths, or tonsil stones) are made of a combination of mucus, bacteria, and sulfer compounds produced by bacteria. People with allergies and constantly draining sinuses get them. They're not dangerous, just really, really, smelly. They look like a little white ball of stuff stuck to the back of your throat. It feels like there's something stuck in your throat, like a piece of skin from a popcorn kernal. You can remove them by gently scraping at them with a Q-tip. Unless you have a really deep tonsil crypt, like me, that gets filled with the stuff. I warned you, nasty gross. Then you have to scoop the stuff out with the Q-tip.
I just thought I'd share that, since most doctors seem not to know what tonsiloliths are, or to have even heard the term. So now, if you have icky little white globs on the back of your throat that won't go away when you swallow or gargle with something, and feel like there's something constantly stuck in your throat, you'll know what they are.

Ok, car update.
I'm taking it in to the auto body shop tomorrow for repairs. It'll cost $2,040, for a new bumper, grill, and hood. The car only cost about $9,000 brand new! Thank the gods there wasn't any mechanical damage, or the insurance company would've probably considered it totaled.

I'm not driving anymore.
Yes, you guessed right, I got in an accident today. Not a bad one, no injuries, and I don't really think it was my fault, but accidents seem to find me no matter what I do, or how carefully I drive. This time, I think my brakes went out.
I was on the freeway earlier today, and someone cut in front of me. I put the brakes on hard (didn't quite slam them on), and they made a really weird grinding and pulsing noise. I don't have ABS. So they shouldn't have pulsed.
Anyway, on my way to work today I was at the part of I70 where it splits into I70 West and I71 North. It's one of the worst areas for traffic in central Ohio, with people zig zagging, trying to get in the correct lane. Traffic is always really bad.
I was in the far left lane, and a semi-truck cut in front of the SUV in front of me. Luckily traffic was kind of slow, and we were only going about 50mph. The truck slammed his brakes on, the guy in the SUV in front of me slammed his on, and I slammed mine on. Unfortunately, mine didn't work very well, because I went right into the back of the SUV. Needless to say, the semi-truck driver had no idea he casused an accident, and kept right on going.
We were both fine, and he said he couldn't see any damage to his car, other than a loose bolt on the bumper, but my hood was bent, and my bumper cracked. Luckily the radiator was fine, so the car is drivable. But one more citation on my driving record means high-risk insurance.
I felt so bad for the guy I hit. He's a college student in Indiana, and he lives in Maryland. He was on his way back to school, and had planned to stop for food and a bathroom break in a few minutes. Until I hit him, that is. When I asked if he was ok, he said yes, except he needed to pee really bad. :) He was so nice about the whole thing. I doubt he's even going to file a claim with my insurance company.
*sigh* What a Friday. And now my back is starting to hurt. Anybody got any Advil?

Wow, it's been forever. I guess I'm just too lazy to type what's been going on with me. Well, here's a quick summary:
Hubby and I are in the process of buying a house - we know what house design we want built, but the lot we decided on isn't available for building yet. So we're playing the waiting game.
I got to meet Lucy, Miki, and Duc from Monkeeland! They came for a visit on May 3rd, and to see Aida. We had a blast! Might get to see Lucy again in Mason on July 3rd - Davy's playing the Independence Day celebration there.
I got the Season 1 DVD set of the The Monkees - I watched about 6 hours worth of eppies last night, and I'm gonna do the same tonight! It's so great to finally get to see them!
I made a new clique for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - see it here. And I joined the Monkeeland Fanlisting.
See ya later!

I have gone seriously doll mad. I just discovered cartoon dolls, and now I'm addicted to them. I can't stop making them. Here's what I have so far.
